Coach JP Review IconWhy a Mini Baseball Front Toss Screen Is Essential

Baseball front toss drills are a cornerstone of effective baseball training, building quickness and timing while helping hitters improve their accuracy. A mini baseball front toss screen ensures your “pitcher” stays protected while delivering consistent tosses across the strike zone.

Its compact size and versatile design make it perfect for batting cages or any practice area with limited space. Additionally, a unique softball pitching screen can enhance practice sessions by allowing players to transition smoothly between baseball and softball drills.

This flexibility ensures that athletes can develop skills relevant to both sports, maximizing their training time. With its durable construction and ease of setup, this screen is an invaluable tool for any serious player seeking to refine their hitting technique.

Benefits of Using a Mini Front Toss Screen

Front toss drills, in which the ball is pitched or underhand-tossed from 15 to 35 feet, are incredibly effective for developing players of all levels. Here’s why a mini front toss screen is a must-have for these drills:

Compact Safety: Protects the “pitcher”, especially in small practice areas, while providing ample coverage.
Reduced Fatigue: Allows coaches or players to toss for extended periods without tiring.

Easier To Adjust Speeds & Location: Reduced distances make it easier to modify pitching speeds and location while maintaining control and precision, giving hitters a well-rounded training experience, while improving their pitch recognition!

How This Mini Front Toss Screen Enhances Your Drills

Our mini front toss screen combines durability, portability, and functionality. Whether you’re training on the field, in a batting cage, or on the road, this screen is tailored to your needs:

Double-Sided Strength: Thick, pro-gauge netting provides durability and protection from batted balls.
Weather-Treated: UV-ray protected to resist sun damage, ensuring longevity even in outdoor environments.
Multi-Sport Use: Designed for baseball and softball training, this versatile solution is ideal for any team.
The netting on this mini front toss screen is engineered to handle intense training sessions

Coach’s Notes: Maximize Your Mini Baseball Front Toss Screen.

To get the most out of your mini front toss screen, follow these tips:
Store Properly: Bring your screen indoors during the off-season to protect it from harsh winter conditions that can wear down the net and frame. At least, remove the net!

Frequent Use: Hitters love front-toss drills for the consistent, accurate pitches they provide. Coaches welcome the relief from too much BP while getting up close and personal with your hitters. Easier for correcting and teaching moments without yelling or completely stopping the drill. This screen makes it a bit safer and more effective for coaches and players alike.

Invest in a mini baseball front toss screen today and see the difference it can make in your daily team training!

Front Toss Drills From 15 ft.

(1) Set up your front toss screen, (2) grab a seat, and (3) toss pitch after pitch using an underhand motion. Tossing the pitches in an underhand motion will most closely resemble the angle of the ball in a game situation and will get rid of those “loopy rainbow pitches” that influence poor uppercut swings.

Great for batting cage drills, for sped-up batting practice at the field, or in backyards where you can hit dozens of regulation-size whiffle balls.

Front Toss Drills From 30-35 ft.

Use it the same way as from shorter distances, except toss overhand while standing or seated. Progressing to this distance from 15 feet will add a good degree of difficulty, test your players, and allow them to see, track, and hit more pitches in a small area over a short period, improving these game-type skills much more quickly!
