Coach JP Review IconA Batting Cage Backstop Protects The #1 Wear Point In A Batting Cage Net

A Batting Cage Backstop Is Not An Optional Investment!
It makes no sense to invest in a batting cage net and then ignore what will wear out soonest, especially when you consider how inexpensive the solution is!

    Vinyl Baseball Backstop

Vinyl Batting Cage Backstop
These are rectangles of heavier vinyl that sometimes have a strike zone screen printed on to them so are also used in batting cages as pitching targets.
We offer a black version with a permanent white strike zone. They are hung by rope that is looped through the included brass grommets

Rubber Baseball Backstop

Rubber Batting Cage Backstop
We offer these heavy rubber slabs in 4′ wide x 6′ long plus 5′ x 7′ & 6′ x 8′ shapes.
They would last longer than the alternatives

Baseball Net Backstop
These are simples net rectangles in various sizes; all with heavy rope borders for hanging.
They are far & away my favorite batting cage backstops (aka net savers).
Here’s why: They are inexpensive and are offered in multiple net strengths.
I don’t’ have to listen to any loud thump when players miss pitches and the regular noise
when used as a target for batter tee or soft toss work, especially indoors.
Most importantly, there are times when I want to view my pitchers or hitters from behind the catcher;
I cannot do this with any solid surface backstop!

There’s not a whole lot more to say about a batting backstop or pitching backstop. All are quality and around the same price, give or take.
There is no best style. It’s really about your own personal needs and preferences.

I hope this helps you decide!
