Our 360° Woody Bat is a wood bat with as close-to-aluminum bat feel and performance as we have seen. The Woody acts and reacts like wood bats, but it has a much longer life and is the only wood bat that comes with a warranty! If the bat breaks within 30 days, we'll send you a new one. This is the perfect team bat.
How can we be so confident about the durability of this bat?
The unique construction of the Woody includes an exclusive composite shell finish for protection of the wood and longer life. As a result, the shell takes the beating, not the wood. Additionally, Sports Engineering of Cambridge, Massachusetts conducted a laboratory and field test that yielded impressive results and enables the Woody to be labeled as the "Safest Wooden Bat On The Market."
Weight
This bat is currently receiving a length to weight ratio of minus 3 ounces. The handle is 15/16 inches.
Where did the name 360° Woody come from?
The unique construction of the bat allows hitting the ball from any side of the barrel, thus the name 360° Woody.

Construction of the 360° Woody
The Young 360° Woody bat gets its durability from the patented construction of the wood.
Start with a six-piece hickory frame.
Hickory was the strongest and most flexible wood used to make bats in Babe Ruth's time. The only draw back of hickory is its weight, and with the pitchers throwing harder and hitters wanting to swing faster, the use of hickory was discontinued. By using hickory as a frame, instead of making a whole bat out of it, the bat still remains light.
4 pieces of ash are glued to the hickory frame.
By gluing the wood together it is actually stronger than by using ash in its natural form.
The wood is placed in the same lathe that Big League bats are turned in.
The bat is cut, shaped, and sanded down.
The bat is reinforced with our exclusive composite shell finish, which protects the wood and increases the life of the bat.
The bat is dipped in a state of the art water-based polyurethane and dried in a specially created drying room.
The dipping and drying procedure is repeated to give the Woody a high gloss professional look.
The Young Bat emblem is added.
A 30 day no-break warranty rounds out the safest wooden bat on the market!
