Do you want quicker bat speed? How about a better arm? I can't think of a simpler way for a baseball or softball player to add speed, strength and power to their throws and swings. The Edge Power Gloves were rated a top training tool by Collegiate Baseball, which had this to say in January 2002:
This product has proven to increase speed and power for pitching and throwing by increasing arm strength and helping develop proper technique. In testing with 100 college pitchers over a 2-year period, the results showed a definite increase in pitching velocity, endurance and power.
The tests also showed a significant decrease in arm and shoulder injuries. No pitchers involved in the testing suffered injuries in the seasons that followed the testing. Pitchers using this device have strengthened the shoulder and rotator cuff to help reduce the possibilities of injury.
"Coaches have tried different weights for years in training hitters and pitchers to hit and throw harder while attempting to stay healthy.
