Hitters cannot control getting hits... too many variables from dominating pitchers to slick fielding position players who steal "sure hits". What a hitter can control is hitting something hard... somewhere! That means gaining greater knowledge of the strikezone which comes from training and experience.

As many of you regular readers know, I am a huge fan of any training device that does not ask any more time from a player's normal routine than he is presently willing to give. Advanced time commitments come from the heart.
Many times that heart grows larger and perhaps stronger with on field successes... and that's where our training devices come in!

If you can hit a small ball, you can hit a game size ball. When you add in a small diameter bat, it makes that focus even more noticeable. Hit more... miss less just by taking your normal cuts whether they are on a batting tee, in a soft toss or flip drill station or even front or live batting practice. Muscle memory becomes engrained quicker while consistent contact increases by players who will simply drill using a smaller diameter bat and then adding a smaller diameter ball into their normal routines!
