The only reason not to purchase our new indoor/outdoor 3.5 digit remote display is budget. (Our 2.5 digit model is all you need for measuring pitch speed, whereas batspeed & ball exit speed is ideally tracked down to the 10th of a MPH and that means the larger 3.5 digit unit!).

This radargun really is quite an improvement over all else on the market..
Since it is a rather large expense, there are a few extra points I’d like to pass on.
The batteries should last you 8-10 hours if using the trigger and not in "constant-on". That is why we only include one light handle instead of two needed on the older, heavier NiCads of older models.
You also can recharge it without draining completely and still not effect battery longevity... another improvement.
There is no tuning fork... not needed. These guns either work or they are broke!...did you see the 1 yr warranty? Awesome!
The case is extruded aluminum making it tough, lightweight and weather-resistant.
Treat your Pro II as water resistant, not waterproof... protect it whenever you can and please don’t drop it... after all, the guts are electronics. (you may want to call your homeowners insurance company or let the ballclub or school know of their new purchase).
The displays really are worth it! You will find more reasons to own it (especially fundraising). They are now made with bright hundreds of LED bulbs that actually sense the outdoors and become even brighter and easier to read from a distance in bright sun. They even have hooks for ease in mounting to chain link fence as well as feet that have been significantly improved for table or falt surface mounting.
Save the shipping package. Displays are too large to fit in your radar gun case.
Expensive and worth it would be my summary on this product.
Stalker Radar builds these displays for all of their Stalker Sport radar guns and now including the Sport 2 and Pro 2 series. The difference is mainly which cable you must match up... no problem, we know the correct item.
Here’s what I like and what’s been improved:
Tiny LED light technology is now utilized as the light source. This new technology makes your display brighter than the older "flip numbers" style. There are no more moving parts to break or wear out!
It even has a high intensity feature where the unit senses sunlight and goes into high beam mode
It’s quicker to record and display as well (a small thing). At only 1 inch thick and just a few pounds, it sits more flush with a fence or wall. The metal "feet" flip swing out then back for storage. This keeps the unit upright on flat surfaces and are vastly improved over previous models; they will last many seasons with minimal care. Fence hooks make it easy to hang on any chain link as well!
