The Heater Jr Real Baseball Pitching Machine comes with a 1/4 horsepower motor for accurate pitching every time. The variable speed control adjusts ball speed from 15 to 48 MPH. The Heater Jr also includes a spiral automatic ball feeder that holds 12 baseballs. The rugged tripod stand is made of galvanized steel tubing and the durable nylon-fiberglass housing is both lightweight and high-impact resistant. Amazing All-In-One Package Makes Set-Up A Breeze!
The Xtender Batting Cage is the most revolutionary batting cage ever developed! Never before have you been able to purchase a complete batting cage and have it shipped directly to your door.
The secret lies in the frame design and netting.
First, the frame's side supports are made of steel tubing to give the frame durability and maximum swinging area for the batter.
Second, the middle arch of the frame is made of flexible fiberglass rod. This rod allows the cage to flex in the wind without bending or breaking.
Third, the six power stakes are staked into the ground to give maximum frame support.
Fourth, a rugged foam pad slides over each frame support to protect the frame from balls.
Fifth, the extra strength catch net is made of 1" netting compared to 2" netting used on other cages. This smaller netting provides twice as much strength in the same amount of space. In fact, this netting is so small it doubles as a golf cage. Imagine what a great golfer you'll be when your hitting hundreds of golf balls into your cage on a daily basis.

I have used our Heater Junior for 2 plus years with our younger players with great results. It is inexpensive, lightweight and gives players enough velocity, especially when combined with our shorter batting cages of 24 feet and 36 feet in length; a good backyard size for many homes.
I do like our heavier, steel-case machines a bit more in that they have more velocity and are even more heavy-duty. The pitching machine prices go up in $100 increments so consider costs first because younger players and families on a budget may get all they need out of this lighter Heater Junior model.
For example, our Standard Heater Pitching Machine (one of my favorites) is around $100 more, our Heater Pro Fastball/Curveball model adds another $100 and our top of the line 60 MPH Heater Combo adds yet another $100.
