I've been a major league baseball scout for 21 yrs and currently work for the Florida Marlins. Prior to my scouting career I was Head Baseball Coach at Austin Peay State U. Training Camp for Athletes is a new indoor training facility and we speacialize in baseball, softball, football and speed/agility training. We offer 1 on 1 and team sessions. I love working with young athletes and teaching them the overall aspects of the game itself as well as the basic mechanics and fundamentals. Jennifer Scott Fernandez is our fastpitch softball instructor. Mo Thompson is our speed/agility instructor and I myself teach hitting/bunting (baseball/softball), baseball pitching, catching (baseball/softball)and fielding/throwing.

THE OFF-SEASON is a indoor athletic training facility located on the square in Waynesboro, TN. At THE OFF-SEASON, we are dedicated in doing all we can to take you to the next level in sports. Our instructors, if you choose to have private lessons, are proven, experienced instructors. We will also offer numerous camps & clinics throughout the year. Here at THE OFF-SEASON, we offer 4 batting cages ready for baseball or softball, 5 pitching lanes ready for any pitching distance in baseball or softball, T-stations for the ever important basic fundamentals. All alone? Don\'t worry, each of our batting cages offer remote pitching, and each of our pitching lanes offer catcher nets. We also have an athletic lounge that offers a big screen TV, PS3, and healthy drinks and snacks.
