I have personally used the Heater Baseball Pitching Machine with our high school age players (mostly because the machine is so portable and supplies enough velocity to get them a good batting practice).
It is perfect in that it is consistent and easy to set up and break down!

I have used this batting cage in our shortest 24 ft model for over 2 seasons (It stays up and outdoors 12 months a year in our hot Georgia climate and colder winters... so far, so good! Because the pitching machine stays outside the cage and harnesses directly to it, I can use the entire distance between machine and hitter while also not risking my life and limb from hard hit balls up the middle. Because these cages come in separate 24 and 36 foot sections, you can easily extend them (thus the name Heater X-Tender Batting Cages). So, if you want to start with a smaller cage... do it!
