Scorpion Soft Toss & Monster Net Combo Soft Toss Combo image

Here is a large and rather inexpensive catch net that comes to you in one box and doesn't require a toolbox or an engineering degree to set up.

The manufacturer calls it the largest hitting and pitching net ever created. It has a 9 ½ foot hitting area and a 4 foot depth. This allows for the angled profile that helps to gather the balls at the base of the net and the free standing (no angled wires to trip over) steel frame.

Consider adding it to our newest entry level Soft Toss Machine, The Scorpion:

It is a perfect combo for those who have a small practice area yet want to track and hit the ball without chasing it around the backyard or basement (and it is the natural progression that goes along with your batting tee station.) All are easy to set up and use.

If you are looking at having one net that you can use for batting tee work as well as soft toss & flip drills, or even if you just need one basic net for all the reasons a backyard might need a large net, check out our new Monster Net from my friend Cole Lay at Heater Baseball. This "mad scientist" daydreams of how to make entire stations for youth ballplayers and keeps coming up with these inexpensive problem-solvers.

Look Mom...No Wires...It's Free Standing

Though I do not recommend this for heavy users-- nor do I see it as portable enough for backyard TO ballpark-- I do think that you would have to make your own free standing version (not advised) to accomplish what this net will... there is just nothing on the market like it.

Take a look at the shear size of this monster-size Net. It is absolutely huge... especially helpful with younger players who can still mis-hit a ball a long way!... (sorry neighbor!)

It uses light duty 1 inch steel framework that simply goes together in lengths (the shipping box is 48 inches long.) Consider putting it away during the off season to maximize the years you will get from your investment as it is not pro strength... you can click here if you would like to see our complete line up of baseball catch nets and frames.
