The Portolite pitching mound has an overlapping interlock design and full body construction that enables pitchers to transfer their weight directly to the floor and reduces the mound from sliding during pitching practice.
Both mounds are manufactured with resilient polyethylene foams and simulate rubber covering. Total storage space needed is 13" x 48" x 56". Weight: 100 lbs (50 per section).
Note: On all indoor applications, both surfaces must be clean and dry (mound & floor).

All of Portolite's mounds are constructed from polypropylene or polyethylene resilient foam cores and then encapsulated with different hardness's of polyurethane material or simulated flexible rubber. Mounds for outdoor use are covered with original Astroturf from Astroturf manufacturing. No imitation turf or fiberglass is used. As a result, the Portolite mounds have lightweight features, a full body, and no shell.
