Youth Wood Bat Approved for Little League Play
Only $45
New barrel design
means these bats are now approved for use in Little League, Babe Ruth Baseball, Dixie Youth Baseball, PONY Baseball and AABC.
This Little League approved bat is constructed with the same materials and with the same process as the Stealth game bat. Starting in 2006, the Youth Stealth's barrel is 2 ¼", the handle is 15/16" and the weight of the bat is 3 ounces less than its length. They are only available in a black finish.
Note: Previous year models (now sold out) had a 2½" barrel.
What is the difference & Why it is better than a wood bat?
A wood bat starts out as one piece of wood (called a Billet) generally from a hardwood tree called Northern Ash. It is shaped into the various lengths, shapes, colors and finishes of today's bats. It is then sold for around $25 for the cheap stuff and somewhere around $40-$80 for the pro-line bats that serious players want. At best this is called "Minor League wood." And eventually.....they splinter or break.
Now You've got a New Tech Wood Bat that lasts up to 3 Times Longer!
Can it break.... Yes. Should it last longer..... Absolutely!
