"One of the best instructional and organizational texts I have seen. You offer the youth league coach a guideline for success."
Greg Riddoch, San Diego Padres manager from 1990-92
"This book has all the practical stuff that is missing from so many guides. You get the proper mix of philosophy, forms, mechanics, and drills. In addition, you get items that will work, that will make the game more enjoyable for players, coaches, and parents."
Bobby Simpson, Higher Ground
"The Tool Kit has lots of all around helpful ideas on the organizational needs for a team. I'm looking at a rack of books written by some great college coaches but they don't come close to addressing specific topics that deal with the group of players I'm coaching like the Tool Kit does."
John Gay, Complete Pitching Clinic
"Pete's new book is perfect for any youth baseball and T-Ball beginner coach. The book and CD provides you with the tools to help give you the confidence to organize, plan, prepare, and run your team like a seasoned pro."
Larry Antley, Texas Youth Coach
Peter Sprenkle has been active in coaching youth sports for over thirty years. Pete has coached youth baseball and girls fastpich softball teams at every age group from 5 to 18-years old. The information in this Tool Kit comes from Sprenkle's experience with many sources, including coaching clinics, talking with other coaches, observation, imagination, and suggestions from players and parents.
Pete is a 1957 graduate of the University of Miami and spent 35 years working for IBM. He retired in 1992 and now devotes much of his time to youth baseball in his hometown of Boulder, CO.
Youth baseball coaches don't have the experience or amount of time required to create the drills that lead to a fun and truly productive practice.
Marty Schupak's 34-minute DVD has over 30 easy to follow drills that will help coaches run a high quality practice in under one hour
This multiple use clipboard has a line score and field diagram on one side and a player roster with room for 16 names on the other. The field diagram is used to show your players where they will be on defense, while coaches can use the team roster side to display the batting line-up.
The clipboard's write-on, wipe-off design works with any dry erase pen or marker. The clipboard has a key ring clip that will attach to any chain link fence, making it easy to hang near the dugout entrance where players can't miss it...which saves you from having to answer the "When do I hit?" type of questions.
