I am more comfortable recommending the smaller 20 ft unit or even the 40 ft unit (which is simply two 20 foot units lashed end to end). I am NOT as excited about the 60 ft (three unit) set up. I feel that the Backyard Series offers more when you get to the longer 48 , 60 and 72 ft cages... and with fewer pieces!

We recommend this Power Alley baseball batting cage for any player up to 14 years old, and prefer our heavier cages such as our Backyard Cage Series even though Power Alley cages will stand up to the swings of older players.

Installation is not difficult, but an extra set of hands will help as all batting cages have large and bulky pieces. After setting it up and taking it down twice we were able to get it up and down quickly and the cage itself was certainly more sturdy after we tweaked it a little. Remember that all our Heater Cages use some guide wires for stability outside the cage frame itself. Do note that Power Alley backyard batting cages have a smaller interior "feel" when compared to traditional cages. This cage is a great idea where budget, space or portability is a large consideration. It's as portable as any cage gets and no tools are required to install it!
