The Akadema Pro Series leather is made from only Top Grain USA Steerhide and 1/4" thick USA Rawhide laces. It has the look of the big name gloves, but at a much lower price! We have offered this lineup for many years and seen negligible returns or negative comments. They arrive slightly stiff out of the box, break in quite rapidly and really hold their shape! My choice for the traditional and the old school player...Expect awesome quality!

The two-toned APM-B42 Reptilian Praying Mantis catcher's mitt has a 32.5" circumference pattern with a spiral-lock web, open back and deep pocket.

The APM-B42 "Thunderpocket" design is for the catcher who likes the control and quickness of a slightly smaller mitt, allowing for increased times to second base. It's best for smaller players AND the catcher with great hands (due to smaller size).
