The APM-S66 Praying Mantis Fastpitch catcher's mitt has a 34" circumference, spiral lock web, open back and deep pocket designed for the serious fastpitch catcher.

The APM-S66 offers "Stress Wedge" shock absorbing protection for the hand against injury and sting when receiving the ball. The glove also has two additional finger hammocks allowing the fingers to be firmly positioned and more secure in the glove. A "Double Flexhinge" makes the glove snap closed on contact.

I firmly believe that you will have a hard time finding a finer catcher's mitt on the market, especially for the price! This mitt will take a lot of pounding from the hardest of throwers.

The leather pocket and web are top quality US Steerhide, the lacing is thick, heavy and skillfully installed. The backside features Lyte Leather. This product decreases the weight of the glove yet allows for easier break-in and a more manageable feel.

You will see these gloves all over High School, travel teams, and Division 1 College Fastpitch Programs.

Other notable features include the stress wedge, which will absolutely reduce bone bruising and sting. The Velcro closure grasp clasp wrist systems allows for use for many different size and ages of players.

It's even been designed to provide a bit larger pocket than usual as well as making it easier to get your throwing hand in and out quicker. The double hinged pocket actually snaps the glove closed upon ball impact!
